Anxiety

Anxiety statistics continue to grow reporting that more people are impacted by anxiety symptoms each year. Many report feeling paralyzed.   Physical symptoms can include stomach aches or butterflies, digestive issues, weakness,  sweating, headaches, high blood pressure or palpitations, feeling of ponding heart, muscle aches, exhaustion, insomnia, trembling or shaking, restlessness, or dry mouth.

Using cognitive behavioral theory we can evaluate anxiety thoughts and challenge thoughts and find coping skills. 

Relationship Issues

Are you having difficulty in your current relationship?  Do you feel resentful, sad or bitter?  Find out what strategies can help.

Are you going through a breakup or divorce and you are not having a break up party?  Are you struggling with the transition.  We can discuss coping strategies and ways to move through this life transition.

Grief & Loss

Grief can be a very isolating feeling. Grief is a very individual process. Grief is most often associated with death and dying but grief can be the consequence of any loss. You could be grieving the loss of a job, independence, a pet, an estranged relationship.  Are you struggling with grief?  Do you feel like you are stuck or doing it wrong? Maybe we should talk about it.

Stress Management

It can be difficult to juggle all of the expectations of work and a personal life. Maintain a job, a budget and a social life.  Learn how to find balance, set boundaries and change expectations.

Compassion Fatigue

Do you feel like your job or the people around you are sucking the life out of you? Caring for others is a hard job.  Over time it can have both psychical and emotional impact. Learn how to be caring and live in peace.

Life Challenges

How does therapy work?

Your therapist will meet with you and help you define goals. You are in control of the section and your therapist is there to guide you on the way to accomplishing those goals.

Do you take insurance?

We accept many insurance companies, please check your insurance here.  

What if I need a time when you are not open?

We try to be as flexible as possible. If out office hour do not coincide with your availability, please contact us and we will work out a schedule that fits you.

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes! Everything is kept confidential according to HIPPA, unless you mention hurting yourself or others.

How long are appointments?

Each appointment is 50 minutes long.
